Terms of Use

By installing or using Kryptra you agree to these terms. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and where it conflicts with these terms, it prevails.
The app and your privacy
Kryptra is a local encrypted vault for photos, videos and files. Its purchase, limited usage, installation-attribution and diagnostic processing is described in our Privacy Policy. We cannot reset your vault pattern or recover its content without your recovery phrase. Cloud backup is not available in the current version.
Licence
Alexarix Limited grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Kryptra on Apple devices you own or control. You may not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, except where that right cannot be restricted by law.
Your recovery phrase is the whole thing
Kryptra is designed so that nobody but you can open your vault — including us. There is no password reset, no support override, and no master key.
If you have no working pattern, recovery phrase or biometric unlock, we cannot restore access to your vault. If an enrolled biometric unlock still works, use that access to export important files. Keep your recovery phrase safely; it cannot restore missing files or transfer the vault to another device.
Kryptra Pro
- Kryptra Pro is offered as an auto-renewing annual subscription and as a one-time lifetime purchase.
- Pro removes the lifetime free-import limits and enables the paid features identified in the app, including secondary and decoy vaults and alternate app icons. A purchase does not include a cloud backup service in the current version. A one-time purchase has no subscription renewal charge.
- Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy, and are set by us in App Store Connect.
- A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period end.
- Manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Where a free trial is actually offered, its terms are shown before purchase; any unused part of that trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy; we cannot issue them.
Acceptable use
Do not use Kryptra to store or distribute material that is unlawful where you are, and do not use it to hide evidence of a crime. We cannot see what you store, so enforcement here rests with you and with the law that applies to you.
No warranty
Kryptra is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we make no promise that any specific security outcome will hold against every adversary. The limits described in the app and on this site are part of the product, not exclusions from it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alexarix Limited is not liable for lost data, lost profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Kryptra. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms and the date on this page, with any additional notice required by law. You may stop using Kryptra at any time. Erase vault content before deleting the app if you want to remove it from that device. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription or automatically delete server-side purchase or usage records; see the Privacy Policy for requests about those records. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
