Terms of Use

By installing or using Kryptra you agree to these terms. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and where it conflicts with these terms, it prevails.
Licence
Alexarix Limited grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Kryptra on Apple devices you own or control. You may not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, except where that right cannot be restricted by law.
Your recovery phrase is the whole thing
Kryptra is designed so that nobody but you can open your vaults — including us. There is no password reset, no support override, and no master key.
If you lose both your pattern and your nine-word recovery phrase, your data is permanently unrecoverable. Write the phrase down and keep it somewhere separate from your device. You accept that this consequence follows from the design and is not a defect.
Kryptra Pro
- Kryptra Pro is offered as an auto-renewing annual subscription and as a one-time lifetime purchase.
- Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy, and are set by us in App Store Connect.
- A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period end.
- Manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy; we cannot issue them.
Acceptable use
Do not use Kryptra to store or distribute material that is unlawful where you are, and do not use it to hide evidence of a crime. We cannot see what you store, so enforcement here rests with you and with the law that applies to you.
No warranty
Kryptra is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we make no promise that any specific security outcome will hold against every adversary. The limits described in the app and on this site are part of the product, not exclusions from it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alexarix Limited is not liable for lost data, lost profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Kryptra. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be surfaced in the app. You may stop using Kryptra at any time by deleting it, which — once you also erase in-app — removes your data from that device.
